Ownership of the Windfarm

The project has always, and will continue to belong to the Denmark community (see FAQs) through the operating company, Denmark Community Windfarm Ltd, registered in 2011; and Denmark Community Windfarm Inc, the voluntary not-for-profit group registered in 2004, which initiated the project on behalf of the community and will deploy its income from the windfarm into community projects.

Everyone in Denmark, shareholder or not, will have direct access to their own source of clean, green energy.

This project is supported by the Australian Government through the Renewable Remote Power Generation Program.
The Program is implemented by the State's Office of Energy in Western Australia.
